I will most definitely recommend you to family and friends as I can honestly say buying a mattress off you has been simple and easy. I was aware of your advice given on the Martin Lewis's website so when it came time for us to replace our mattress I logged on there to see what recent advice you were giving. What impressed me Tim was that you did not promote your own business through this, just gave others your knowledge. Infact I had to search for you (google) to find your company and from there decided to email you with our specifics. Your service was prompt, couteous and informative and I ordered the mattress that suited our needs the most. It came on the specified day and that time given and the delivery drivers were helpful and polite. Everything about this process has been good. Thank you. You have my ongoing custom.

Having now had the mattress you chose for me for quite a while now, (not sure you remember me, maybe the previous msgs will jogg your memory), can I just thank you so much for taking the time to choose it for me. It is fantastic! you are an absolute genius and quite obv at the top of your game. Even not dreading my knee op's now because I am 100% sure its going to be as comfortable as possible when I return from hospital.
Again thank you so much, you have done more than just pick a suitable mattress for me, you have even helped me with the pain I deal with daily, by providing excellent comfort. I am sure you can understand why I am so thankful. Keep up the good work, and I hope this finds you well.

Dear Tim,
I wanted to write to say that we have put a mattress protector on the new bed (Madrid) and have slept in it for a couple of nights and so far I am very pleased with it. It is nice and comfortable yet supportive - exactly what I wanted and far better than the more expensive Rest Assured that we bought (and returned) previously from another company.
Thanks so much for your help answering my questions before we made the purchase. I ordered from you because I found lots of chatter on message boards on the internet where you have spent the time advising people about beds and helping them out and I think that is a really decent thing to do. Your delivery drivers called me in advance of the delivery and my wife said that when they delivered they were polite and friendly and the delivery seemed no problem to them at all. In short, I wont hesitate to recommend your service to others.

The customer who wrote the following review initailly sent a message thanking us for the mattress she purchased, and for our sirvice. So as usual I asked if I could include her message on this page. To which she replied "I’ll do a better one for the site". So here it is:
I’d like to tell you all about my experience with Bedlum Beds.
We’d had a bed for more than 10 years and to say it was useless was an understatement – time for a new one. I had very particular requirements though – memory foam makes me too hot although I like the support and comfort aspect of it, my partner is nearly double my weight, he likes quite firm, I like quite soft, etc, etc. It was a challenge to find a bed that was going to be perfect for both of us. I sent an email to Bedlum Beds asking for some advice. Tim replied straight away suggesting some recommendations and going into a lot of detail as to why they’d be suitable and we continued to go back and forth with questions and answers until I was sure as sure can be.
As we had a pine bed frame with widely spaced slats, Tim first recommended that we purchase a couple of pieces of flexible hardboard to go over these. We then decided to go with the Venice mattress which is a luxury 1500 pocket sprung mattress that’s not too firm, not too soft. It has 2 inches of V60 memory foam on either side so you can turn it regularly and maintain the life of your mattress. We also had the climasmart fabric covering which would help with excess heat when it’s warm.
The bed arrived safe and sound about 10 days later and the two guys delivering it were pleasant and fast, getting it upstairs like it was light as a feather and then going through the paperwork with me patiently.
So, all excited now, I rushed out to buy a lovely mattress protector and a posh new egyptian cotton sheet. I put these on and prepared for a great night’s sleep. I wasn’t disappointed, the mattress is just so comfortable. I expect to take a while to get used to it with a few aches and pains in the first week but no, right from the off, I had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in years. The mattress makes you feel as though you’re sleeping on a big, fluffy cloud, supporting your joints perfectly, not too hot like my last memory foam topper – I didn’t want to get up in the morning. Nearly a week later, it’s still the same – gorgeous uninterrupted nights’ sleep and looking forward to the end of the day so I can climb in. My husband loves it too because, while not firm, this mattress is massively supportive and stops him from spinning around trying to get comfortable all night.
All in all, we’ve had a wonderful experience with Bedlum Beds – the initial chats we had with Tim reassured us of our decision and the mattress itself has blown us away – and all for about a third of the price of this sort of quality mattress from some High Street bed chains. Couldn’t be happier and would recommend Bedlum Beds to anyone. You have a very happy, well rested customer here.

Just wanted to say that the new bed is fantastic - haven't slept in a bed this comfy since we stayed at a very expensive hotel on our honeymoon. My boss wasn't as pleased as I was though, as I overslept by an hour and a half this morning!

I had two of your La Romantica Charlotte beds delivered for my B &
B last year and I wrote to say how pleased I was with them on arrival.
These beds have now been 'in service' for 6 months and I thought I should
write to tell you and your customers how delighted we have been with them.
Almost all guests, without exception, say what a great night sleep they
have, to the point where this weekend, one pair of guests removed the linen
to check out the make as they are looking for a new bed. Needless to say I
recommended you. It really helps our business that guests sleep so well and
I think it is good for your customers to know from a tried and tested source
what a great product this is.

purchasing and delivering my daughters bed. We had lots of problems in
trying to get the exact same bed from our local bed shop and was let down 3
times, then when the bed did turn up, it was faulty. She ended up sleeping
on the floor. We then found your website and ordered the bed. The service

Thanks for the mattress and speedy courteous delivery (the guys even moved our old mattress into the spare room for us). Having used it for 2 weeks, the Venice mattress is exceptionally comfortable and gives a much better night's sleep than our previous Ikea mattress. We travel a lot and the mattress is up there with the best 5* hotel mattresses we have ever slept on. It is also more comfortable than some well-known chain store mattresses that we tried, which retail for 3x the price.
I also appreciate the pre sales advice and recommendation which turned out to be spot on.

I thought I'd send you a quick email to say thanks for the excellent customer service I received in regards to my order of a La Romantica Charlotte mattress which was delivered just over a week ago.
I was unsure whether to go for the medium or medium-firm version so I called your office and while I'm not sure if I spoke to you or someone else, they were very polite and friendly. I was advised to purchase the medium which is really comfortable. I think it was definately the right choice because I don't think my partner or I would have found a firmer mattress as comfortable. In addition, when I emailled you with a query, the response was both speedy and helpful.
I was really impressed with how various people from your company kept me imformed regarding the delivery. I was given an accurate time slot, which was adhered to pretty much to the minute, following a phone call from one of the delivery men to say they'll be over in half an hour! Even better, the delivery was on a Saturday which was a bonus as I don't work then so it was even more convenient.
It's a shame this level of customer service can't be expected as standard from other companies these days because if it was, life would be so much easier! I guess I sound old saying that but I'm only 29!!
I would definately recommend you to a friend and will look you up first next time I'm looking to buy a new bed or mattress. If you know of any sites where I can rate your company's services or leave a testimonial please let me know and I'll be sure to leave some very positive feedback.

The bed arrived yesterday, as promised and within the specified delivery time. Even though they were under a tight schedule, your guys were kind enough to put it together on payment of the £20 and it looks beautiful. After a complete, brand new set of John Lewis bedding (including new mattress protector) was applied, I had one of the best nights sleep I have had in a while. No more buttons digging into my hips, no more mattress movement, just a good night's sleep. In fact, it was so good, I didn't want to get out of it this morning.
Yes, it is warmer than our old mattress and I put that down to the memory foam but a new, same tog, lighter weight, duvet mostly solved that one. Anyway, who wants to be cold in bed!
Thank you for all your help and guidance, for the courteous and detailed explanations about which type of mattress would suit me and hubby best (and why) as both of us are generously proportioned and for all your patience as we worked out which bed was going where.
I must admit, I was nervous about buying a bed I had neither seen nor tried out first but my fears were groundless and believe me, the 'risk' (not that there was any) was well worth it.

Forget to send you some feedback from our purchase of the single Oriel
mattress (special size) for our son the other month. As previously when we
ordered our daughters mattress in 2009 the process was smooth and easy and
the special size was no problem.
For the money the mattress is great for younger children and I am sure will
see them into their teenage years when we will look at upgrading.
I know my parents are looking at changing their mattress next year and I
will certainly recommend they consider your company.

The beds and headboards arrived last night but as we were busy we have only just had the opportunity to unpack them.
I am glad I didn't choose the firmer beds as personally I consider the Charlotte quite firm, but that aside, we have been delighted with the service, delivery, very careful packing and of course the product.
The one thing I worried about was the quality of the headboards since they are such a fantastic price, but I need not have worried, they are amazing and I would have paid 4 times that amount on other on line sites. So please congratulate La Romantica on a good product and also well done to you for your advice and help.

Just to say the mattress arrived all OK on Friday evening.
It is indeed a quality product and a vast improvement on what had gone before. It took over an hour on the internet forums to establish the correct product (started out looking at products for the commercial brands) and your comments on have proven correct.

Nope - go ahead - it was similar comments that gave confidence in ordering the product, plus your ability to use technical information (number of springs etc) understand why mattresses are different - also the need for a good base, as this is nigh on impossible to judge from 30mins in a showrrom or via online purchase ie it reduces the risk.

Hi Tim,
I ordered a super king size La Romantica Venice mattress from you and have been sleeping on it for a month or so now.
I wanted to let you know that I'm really happy with the bed. It's really comfortable and soft - but not unsupportive, just nice and cosy.
It gets way less hot than my previous memory foam mattress - I haven't really noticed it getting hot at all.
I haven't gotten out of bed with any back ache since I've been sleeping on this.
And your delivery guys were amazing in getting it up all those stairs!!
